Bequests
By leaving a gift in your will to the Roslyn Wakari Stables Trust, you will be leaving a lasting legacy to support the general welfare of Roslyn Wakari A.F.C.
Roslyn Wakari A.F.C is the beneficiary of all funds received by the Trust. However, Trustees of the Stables Trust retain control of the distribution of funds to ensure that allocations are made to only the most meaningful initiatives and comply with the specific objectives set out within the trust deed.
Please contact us for a no-obligation discussion if you would like further information about leaving a gift in your will to the Roslyn Wakari Stables Trust. The Trust will inform you of how your gift will allow the Trust to meet its objectives. We’ll be able to provide you with the necessary information that you can provide to your Solicitor about including a gift to the Trust within your will.
The Memorial Bench
After the passing of life member Ernie Westeneng, Ernie's family donated a memorial seat to be placed outside the clubrooms. On Sunday 16 May 2023, a large number of present and past members and Ernie’s family gathered to present the Memorial Bench.
The bench has pride of place at the “Top of the Park” overlooking Ellis and will commemorate other treasured past members, as can be seen with the plaques for Larry Markham and Ernie in the photos below.
